Persian Ear Reflexology

Reflexology dates back to the ancient times with many artifacts depicting these type of healing practices in the Persian, Chinese, Roman and Greek dynasties. Persian Ear Reflexology or Gooshmali , as it is pronounced in Persian language, literally means ear rubbing. It is a healing tradition that has been buried in the archives of the Persian history of war and destruction. The only remnant of this ancient technique is what it implies in everyday, common dialogue of the Iranians; punishing someone who is not behaving normally by rubbing their ears!

Dr. Bina, in attempting to revive this healing tradition, has been incorporating ear reflexology into his chiropractic bodywork sessions and manually stimulating reflex points in the ears to support symptomatic relief of issues. In this stand alone session, reflex points and regions in the ear are manipulated for the general toning and conditioning of patients.
