Tissue Mineral Hair Analysis

Tissue Mineral Hair Analysis is a highly informative, a very practical and an inexpensive assessment of the metabolic profile of a patient. By measuring the hair content of fifteen essential minerals, eight toxic heavy metals and fourteen other elements, and with proper interpretation of the data, hair analysis provides clues about the functional trend of major endocrine glands responsible for energy production, stress repnse, musculoskeletal inegrity and overall health. The presence of any heavy metal toxicity that may be overt or hidden will also provide an insight into the adverse impact these may have had on the normal physiology of the person tested.

A great advantage that hair analysis has over other tests is that, the length of the hair samples that are collected, provides a three month cumulative profile of all the metabolic ups and downs that a patient has experienced. This wide window of information presents a metabolic image of patient's trending and his or her predispositions to various health conditions with the links to their current symptoms and ailments.

The value of obtaining a hair analysis is in gaining the specific picture of a patients health status and thus being able to provide a very specific course of action that is tailored to the patient including dietary recommendations, specific supplementation and appropriate therapeutic interventions. The insight that a hair analysis provides can explain the possible underlying source of many conditions such as Fatigue, Mood swings, Weight Gain or Weight Loss, GI problems, Allergies, ADD with or without Hyperactivity, Fibromyalgia, Neurodegenerative conditions, Memory Loss and a host of many other ailments.

The fee for a basic Hair Analysis is $165, which includes a 10-15 page lab report with Dr. Bina's comments on major issues. Test kits can be provided to patients who live far away.

At patient's discretion, advance interpretation and diagnostic correlation with patient's full history and other diagnostic testing can be provided to address life style factors and plan a tailored dietary and physical enhancement regimens.
